The Little Dixie Kiwanis Club was founded in Columbia, Missouri in 1960 as an
offshoot of the Columbia Kiwanis Club. Meetings are held on a weekly basis at
Jack's Gourmet Restaurant on Business Loop 70 each Monday at noon.
Visitors are welcome at any time. There are more than 30 active members in the club, some of whom have been active since the club's inception. Community involvement happens in a variety of ways and in many different settings, but one in which this club is most active is at the Thomas Hart Benton Elementary School where we work with a K-Kids club and many members are active as mentors or reading partners with students.
